Hey Guys,
I came across this website the other day, www.heybuddyvending.com .
They are a company that sells pet supplies out of vending machines.
I am considering of bringing this to Atlanta, send me some feed back and answer these questions:
A) Would you use it?
B) What products would you want to see in it?
Also, parents, I am working on a similar concept for children, called the tinySTATION.
A) Would you use it?
B) What products would you want to see in it?
C) Where would you want to see it?
Email me guys at info@tinyproof.com
Thanks-

Dear TinyProof,
Most sincere apologies for snarling when you rang. I was used to having my way in this house. Clearly, my owner (let’s call her O.) thought things here had gotten outta hand.
But thanks to you, I no longer rule this roost — your pet-proofing methods have tamed the beast in me. READ MORE

-The Captain

You have the cute teacup dog, and you bought the matching Chanel carrier for your little pooch. And now that you have him home you find that he likes to chew you Manolo collection, or he gets his paws on your beehive kitchen ware, or he likes the taste of your television cords.
You may want to consider having your home pet proofed. No longer the domain of over active toddlers, tinyPROOF, originally just a child proofing company, will come to your home prevent your little dog or cat from tearing your chic abode apart.
The service not only keeps your home beautiful and pet friendly, but it also makes sure your “little ones” stay safe, and can keep on wagging.
I’ll answer the most frequently asked questions…
Who is tinyPROOF?
tinyPROOF is a full service child and pet safety company. Our goal is to be the easiest and most convenient option for parents and caretakers for all of their baby proofing and pet proofing needs.
What is Pet Proofing?
Pet Proofing is a service that installs safety products such as kitchen cabinet latches, doggy gates, pet doors, socket covers, cable covers, scratch guards and pet repellents. Dogs and cats can get into places where you do not want them to be, and tinyPROOF can prevent this from happening. We can also keep the home beautiful, by installing products that are hidden from view or blend in with the décor.
3. Who uses tinyPROOF Pet Services?
Our clients composition varies but we find that busy people who value their time love our service, and people who “baby” their pets also are prime candidates for pet proofing.
What is the Pet Proofing Process?
Every Pet Proofing client starts with a Home Assessment. It includes a question and answer session with the owner, as well as a 100 point check list. We then follow the owner’s needs and also educate them on possible problem areas. After that we install any after market safety parts, and we follow up a week later to make sure that the client is satisfied.
What are the biggest problem areas?
There are 7 issues that we see over and over again
The pet gets into the kitchen cabinets, so we install latches to keep them out. These latches are hidden behind the doors, and drawers so that the aesthetic is maintained.
The pet chews cable cords or electrical cords, so we shorten the cords and cover them with a citrus cover, which gets the the pet to stop eating the cords.
The pet scratches doors. We install either a pet scratch guard or use pet repellent at the owner’s discretion.
The pet owner wants a pet door installed. We do this as well.
The owner wants to keep the pet on one floor, so we install pet gates to keep the pet from exploring too much of the house.
Frequently we get questions about transporting pets. We also sell and install pet car seats (side note: NEVER ride in a car with an unsecured pet)
Some pets love to scratch furniture, and our clients normally have very nice furniture, so we put up scratch guards or scratch post.
6. What about liability?
tinyPROOF, as the service provider, remains liable for all of our consultations and installations. In addition, customers waive all
liability for any partner in a pre-assessment waiver that all of our customers sign before a home safety assessment.
How long does it take to pet proof?
The average jobs takes between 2 and 4 hours.
How much does the service cost?
With materials and labor the average job is between $200 and $500.
How do I schedule an appointment?
Simple. Call tinyPROOF today at 404 254 6992.

Safety Today, Not Tomorrow!
I was recently a guest on the uniqueness is power radio show. Check out what they said,
…Our Unique of the Week was Broderick Turner with Tiny Proof - www.tinyproof.com. Broderick caught the “keeping kids safe” fever when he took a CPR class, and let’s just say it’s been a full time passion since then. Broderick joined us to cover the 10 tips TinyProof gives to parents, for keeping kids safe in the car and at home. Did you know that almost all accidents that hurt children could have been prevented with a simple adjustment early on? Broderick can show you how. Great for home owners associations and for P&C insurance agent “safety days” - Broderick can show how to properly install and use a car seat, and then do a home check, all for very reasonable fees. Having a $20,000 car and a $30 car seat doesn’t make sense, does it? Contact Broderick for more info - at Broderick@tinyproof.com ….
Pretty good, huh? (of course hearing my voice on the radio is weird).
You can listen to a podcast here,
Hey, you can hire me to speak on child safety, and teach child safety classes. Just email me at broderick@tinyproof.com

One Million Cribs Recalled: Is Yours One? Parents urged to check their cribs.
The Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC) recently recalled about 1 million cribs manufactured by Simplicity and Graco. The recall follows the recent death of three infants who became entrapped and suffocated in their cribs. In all three of the cases, the drop-rail side of the crib had been installed upside-down, which created a gap that children can slide into and suffocate.
The CPSC is urging all parents with newer versions of Simplicity and Graco cribs to check to ensure that the drop-rail is installed properly and securely attached. For more information, consumers can contact Simplicity at 888-593-9274 or visit www.simplicityforchildren.com. tinyPROOF suggests that all parents take a few minutes to review the assembly instructions for their crib and make sure that any crib with a drop-rail is properly assembled.
Despite the real fears that this recall may stir up in parents, tinyPROOF strongly urges you NOT to allow infants to sleep in the parents’ bed. Many more injuries and deaths have been caused by infants sleeping in the parents’ bed than in any crib. There are many safe cribs and with a little investigation, switching cribs should be the answer before allowing infants to sleep in the parents’ bed. If you have any questions about this or any other child safety concerns, OR if you would like tinyPROOF to install your crib please contact tinyPROOF at (404) 254-6992.

Safety Spotlight: Furniture Straps
Keep Your Kids Safe
It’s football season. Playoff baseball is beginning and many own a beautiful television to watch all the games. tinyPROOF loves these televisions and other furniture as much as anyone else, but we also want these items to be as safe as possible for our children.
You may not be aware but even heavy items can be moved by children and possibly fall on them. Our good friend, Mr. Gravity, can be a not-so-good friend to our children when it allows large furniture pieces that are not properly secured to a wall or stud to fall. Items such as televisions, bookshelves, grandfather clocks and changing tables are a few of the items that we encourage parents to secure with furniture straps.
Furniture straps are small pieces of strong nylon that can be secured to screws in wall studs or drywall. tinyPROOF does suggest that when securing furniture straps into drywall (which is less secure than securing into a wall stud), please use screw fasteners to keep the screws secure in the drywall. Furniture straps are inexpensive and can save your children for potential injury and your new flat-screen from being broken before the big game. For installation of furniture straps or other child safety information, please contact tinyPROOF at (404) 254-6992.
